YDA's protest in KPK supported by PML-N & ANP

PESHAWAR- The advisor to Prime Minister and Senior Vice-President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) - Amir Muqam has urged the KPK government to accept the demands of Young Doctors Association (YDA), which has been protesting at Rahman Baba Square in Peshawar. During his visit to the protest camp, Ameer Muqam expressed solidarity with the protesting doctors. Muqam demanded that the government should at least give perks to young doctors equal to those received by the young doctors in Punjab.

According to reports; the PML-N leader assured the doctors that he would raise the issue with the chief minister and governor as well as the prime minister. He also offered YDA to help them in taking their ailing president to other hospital of Punjab or Islamabad. 

Earlier, Awami National Party MPA Syed Jaffar Shah also visited the camp and assured support to medical fraternity. He promised to raise the issue in the next session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.  The government should resolve the long-standing demand of service structure of the doctors. Meanwhile, PML-N, Lawyers Wing's President - Advocate Alamzeb gave a statement, condemning the apathy of the government towards the continuing YDA strike.
