The Great Humanitarian Abdus Sattar is no More

Karachi: One of the greatest social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi passed away today after his prolonged fight with illness following kidney failure.The philanthropist was put on a ventilator when he was brought to SIUT after breathing problems.He was 91 and has served Pakistan particularly Karachi like nobody has ever done before him. His ambulance service is the backbone of the healthcare sector and he has played a pivotal role in alleviating the
sufferings of the down trodden in Pakistan.
The philanthropist was diagnosed with kidney failure in June 2013 and was told by doctors that he would have to be on dialysis for the rest of his life.
