Pathology Update 2016 Conference to be held in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, 01 November 2016: The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will organize the 3rd edition of Pathology Update conference in Abu Dhabi from 3rd – 4th November 2016.

“The conference will explore the advances in Anatomical Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Chemical Pathology, Immunology and Molecular Pathology,” said ASCP Chief Executive Officer E. Blair Holladay, PhD, SCT (ASCP)CM. “This conference will be an exceptional event that brings together over 300 pathologists and laboratory professionals from all parts of the Middle East and beyond to share their scientific endeavors, experience, and best practices in laboratory medicine.”

The field of Pathology is growing rapidly and its development is making tremendous impacts in medical sciences. The importance and significance can be gauged by the fact that it has made huge advancements over the course of time and is continuing to influence various sectors. ASCP is the world’s largest professional membership organization for pathologists and laboratory professionals. With more than 100,000 members, the society’s influence has guided the application and evolution of the pathology and laboratory medicine specialty since 1922. ASCP and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi joined hands together in 2014 to create a platform that provides innovative educational offerings to pathologists and lab professionals throughout the MENA region to broaden their commitment to support pathology and laboratory medicine in the Middle East to improve patient care.

The CME-accredited conference aims to bring together pathologists and laboratory professionals from all parts of the Middle East to share their scientific endeavors, experiences and best practices in laboratory medicine.
