“International Success Story of Pak Healthcare”

KARACHI - Senior Minister Sindh Government Nisar Ahmed Khorho has appreciated that a lot of Pakistani doctors have achieved landmarks in their respective medical field and it is great pleasure for all of us that Dr Syed Imran Ali Shah, a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon done successful operation of Pedro Antoneo of Mozambique. Furthermore, Dr Imran’s father Dr Syed Muhammad Ali Shah was also a Legend of the Country who did a tremendous job in sports as well as in the medical field. All Assembly Members still remember his achievements.

This he stated in a ceremony held in local hotel in Karachi organized by A. O. Clinic with the collaboration of Honourary Consul General of Mozambique Khalid Tawab with the title “Success story of Health Care in Pakistan”. Those who also attend the ceremony were patient Pedro Antonio who had especially come for the occasion from Mozambique, former Governor Sindh Lt Gen(R) Moinuddin Haider, Farooq Sattar, Kamran Tesori, Zubair Tufail, Chairman FPCCI, Admiral Arif Hussaini, Jam Madad Ali, Business Tycoon SM Muneer, Yahya Polani, Steve Carosmann British deputy High commissioner, Ahmed Ansai Honourary Consul General Czech Republic, Fazal Dadabhoy Honourary Consul General Courve de Vor, Afriqa, Ex-Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Test Cricketer Moeen Khan, Olympian Islahuddin, Sadiq Muhammad, Shoaib Muhammad, Nadeem Maazjee, Nusrat Faheem. Nisar Ahmed Khurho also paid rich tribute to the Shah family and hoped that both sons Dr Syed Imran Ali Shah and Dr Syed Junaid Ali Shah will continue to run the mission of their father.

Honourary Consul General Mozambique Khalid Tawab said Dr Imran Ali Shah done unbelievable surgery successfully and whole nation is proud on him. He further stated that Dr Junaid Ali Shah had done tremendous job as a health minister Sindh in interim Government, he demanded that Dr Syed Junaid Ali Shah should give one more chance to serve the country as a health minister.

Dr Farooq Sattar of MQM Pakistan hoped that a day will come when American President Donald Trumph will also come to Pakistan for treatment. He offered Dr Syed Imran Ali Shah to join politics.

Dr Imran Ali Shah has said that the operation of Pedro Antonio was not easy, however by using technique of my father Dr.Syed Muhammad Ali Shah I got success by the grace of Almighty Allah. He described the background story of Pedro Antonio to whom Doctors in South Africa & Mozambique declared that his leg to be cut down but I got the challenge and done it successfully. He said that it is need to promote Health Services in Pakistan.

Speaking on this occasion Pedro Antonio express his thanks to Dr Syed Imran Ali Shah & Khalid Tawab and said that I was so disappointed when doctors in South Africa suggested that my leg is going to cut down but Dr Imran Ali Shah took the challenge and done my successful operation and now I am playing football.

President FPCCI Zubair Tufail also spoke. Former Health Minister Dr Junaid Ali Shah said me and my brother Dr Imran Ali Shah will continue to run mission of our father. He said that it is needs to improve medical facilities to the nation in our Country and I am proud to serve here in Pakistan instead of practicing in abroad.

He expressed his special thanks to Sr Minister Sindh Nisar Ahmed Khorho for attending the said ceremony in very short notice.
