International moot on education at AKU

Karachi: The inaugural ceremony of a three-day 10th international conference being organised by Aga Khan University’s Institute for Educational Development will be held on Nov 19 at its auditorium.

The theme for this year’s moot, which will continue till Nov 21,  is “A Renewed Focus on Teacher, Teaching Quality and Learning: Localised Models and Practices.”

Speakers of the conference include IED’s Associate Professor Dr Ayesha Bashiruddin, Prof Pauline Rose, REAL Centre, University of Cambridge, UK; IED’s Prof Dr Nelofer Halai,  Prof Yusuf Sayed, International Education, University of Sussex, UK  and Prof Marie Lall, University College London, UK.
