Dengue Menace Continues

KARACHI- As many as 14 dengue fever cases have been reported across Karachi, since last week of April, taking the reported cases toll to 270, since 1st January 2018.

As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 17 new dengue fever cases surfaced across Sindh, out of  which 14 were reported from Karachi and 3 from other districts of province, within a span of one week.

In April, a total 65 dengue positive cases were reported throughout Sindh, out of which 60 were from Karachi and 5 from other districts of province.

 A total of 288 dengue cases have been reported throughout the Province of Sindh, out of which 270 were reported within Karachi and 18 from rest of the Province.

Unfortunately, a death was also reported in Karachi this year.
