CHK Pharmacy to be Air-Conditioned

KARACHI- Dr. Ruth KM Pfau, Civil Hospital Karachi’s (CHK), administration has decided to install air-conditioners in its Pharmacy Department, to maintain temperature of medicines during summer season.

Medical Superintendent, Dr. Ruth KM Pfau CHK, Dr. Muhammad Taufiq, confirmed the news. He added that temperature regulation via installation of ACs will aid in storage of medicines without cold chain management, turning into a threat to health of users.

He informed that the ACs would be installed in all sections of the pharmacy, including tablet section, injection & drip section, syrup section, surgical section and other sections. Arrangements and installation work of ACs began from April 30, 2018.
