A Large Sum of Money Released to Assist Needy Patients: Former Caretaker CM, Punjab

LAHORE: The former elected Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Assembly, Dr. Hasan Askari stated that, our country’s healthcare sector is in dire need of improvement, and that necessary steps should be taken by the caretaker setup to provide the public with the best medical facilities.


The caretaker government is readily providing necessary resources for early completion of ongoing healthcare schemes, in order to facilitate patients.


According to former caretaker CM, all concerned departments will have to perform efficiently to provide quality care with the help modern medical facilities.


Furthermore, he added that, an amount of Rs.154 million was released to facilitate treatment of deserving patients. He said that the provision of best healthcare facilities to patients will continue, despite the limited mandate of the caretaker setup.


Moreover, Dr. Hasan informed that clear instructions have been issued to the concerned officials and government departments for implementation of necessary precautionary measures against Congo virus, in the wake of upcoming religious festival, Eid-ul-Azha.


Fumigation would be carried out at cattle markets, whilst ensuring that the Health and Livestock departments stay cautions, and take every possible step to keep our public safe.


Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, recently appointed as the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab, congratulated Dr. Hasan Askari on successfully completing the caretaker tenure. Similarly, the caretaker Chief Minister, praised Pervaiz Elahi’s work, and together they expressed well wishes for Punjab and its prosperity.
