7500 Fellows await PMDC nod

Karachi: The fellows from the College of Physicians and Surgeons await a nod of approval from Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.

Talking to Dental News, one of the members said that Pakistan Medical & Dental Council is of the view that they are not aware of the quality and type of training done at CPSP. This seems like a joke in itself since most of the PMDC fellows have done their fellowships at the CPSP or are examiners there.

PMDC has also started a formal request to be furnished separately for the accreditation of the postgraduate qualifications even though they are only offered by government sector universities.

Instead of streamlining operation it seems PMDC wants to do assume the policing of the healthcare sector.
